Official Selection: Austin Film Festival
We are so honored to announce that our newest film “Let’s Go Action Squadron!” is an Official Selection and will screen at the 29th annual Austin Film Festival in October 2022.
Known as the “Writers Festival” since its inception 28 years ago, Austin Film Festival recognizes the importance of narrative at the core of filmmaking. By celebrating the work of storytellers; those committed to crafting intricate worlds, fully-formed characters, and diverse perspectives, AFF bolsters its reputation as a champion for the creator. “Let’s Go Action Squadron” is a short about a group of estranged childhood friends with no fighting experience, who must reunite in their thirties to fulfill a promise they made as children to become space ninjas and save the planet Earth.
The film was written and directed by Nice Egg co-founder Paris Brown, produced by Heather McKinney, and stars a cast of incredibly talented actors from the Dallas area. Full cast is available here.
The film will have its world premiere at the AFF screening in Austin in the final week of October. We are so proud of the efforts of the team!
