Official Selection + Award Nomination: WorldFest Houston

Our short film, Keeks, will begin its festival run this April 2026 at the WorldFest Houston International Film Festival. The film is also nominated for a Remi Award.

In its 59th year, WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival is the oldest Independent Film Festival in the whole wide world featuring emerging filmmakers. WorldFest gave first awards to giants of the film industry, including Spielberg, Lucas, Ang Lee, the Coen Brothers, Ridley Scott, John Lee Hancock, Brian de Palma, Randal Kleiser, Oliver Stone, David Lynch, and literally hundreds more.

Keeks tells the story of a neurodivergent brother and his straight-laced sister as they grapple with their father's dying wishes in their own unique ways.

The film was written by our frequent collaborator, the hilarious Todd Anderton, directed by Nice Egg co-founder Paris Brown, produced by co-founder Heather McKinney, and stars Dallas-based comedian Andrew Plock alongside a cast of incredibly talented actors from the DFW area.

Congratulations to the cast and crew on the honor!
